Semi Automatic Pistol Conversion Course

The Purpose of this course is to prepare people who qualify to carry firearms in the course of their employment, to effectively negate a life-threatening situation. This course will be conducted by Instructors who have been approved by the Commissioner of Police as a NSW Pistol Instructor.

The course of instruction will provide lectures, dicussions, video and practical training to ensure a standardisation of the accepted proven methods of defensive shooting techniques. Further the necessary skill and knowledge of non-lethal defensive techniques as required by the Security Protection Industry, will be reviewed.

This curriculum will assist persons in the security industry who are required to carry a firearm in the course of their normal duties.
